BCFD DANCERS IN OUR COMMUNITY
A Gift of Warmth for our Soup Kitchen Guests
On Tuesday December 20,2011 Barbara's Centre for Dance
completed a service project by presenting a "tree skirt" amount
of blankets they had collected to benefit our Soup Kitchen guests,
when cold weather arrives. Pictured above is our own Paige Butz,
a student and associate at the school, with the girls brimming with
excitement about what they have done and that the blankets will
be used to keep homeless people warm when it turns cold this
winter. Associate Pastor Alan Harvey gratefully accepted the gift on
behalf of the church's Soup Kitchen. Thank you Barbara's Centre
for Dance for remembering "the least of Christ's brothers and
sisters" with these gifts of warmth!
